gee--macs and windows comps really see the world in very different ways, y'know?
I have a mac, and I do most of my recreational (including d-land) web stuff on it.
At school the pc is queen. So I'm in the lab at school after class, procrastinating (as usual...) and I check out my diary. Man, it looked nothing like it looks at home! The html was all floopy and I had a little panic attack. I just spent about thirty minutes getting everything to even slightly resemble what it looks like on my mac. It's there now (at least in ie 6.0, netscape 6.2, and opera 6.0--it still looks crappy in netscape 4.???...), but I started thinking about how all the diaries I read regularly probably look different too. I went to a few and discovered that indeed some diaries that I thought just had weird layouts actually have those internal-scrolling-frames, which is a little odd because those things do display in ie for the mac, but I guess not all the time...
Anyway, I feel strange now--all the windows folk who check my diary probably thought I just had terrible html skills... When really I just was too lazy to check things out at the lab. I hope when I go home everything doesn't look terrible on my mac!
