what is up with UPN advertising every single episode of Buffy as though it were a hi-larious sex comedy?

I mean, the promo for tonight's episode had the tag line "all the girls love Spike!"

It's almost like UPN doesn't know what the heck to do with a show that has comedy and vampires and demons, but also has drama and angst and darkness. I've noticed that FOX does the same thing with Firefly. The WB, on the other hand, does an ok job with Angel promos.
