ok. AotC is that older cousin you like because he buys beer for you and your underage friends and has a cool car that he's always working on. And who has really cute-yet-dangerous-looking friends.

Buffy was good tonight. It finally feels like something is going to happen.

in which I nerd out to the nth degree

I can't get over how much I love my spiffy LOTR expanded nerd edition! I can't wait for TT. I got a free ticket with the DVD and it should just be time to watch it now. Right. Now.

I've watched the whole 3.5 hours four times this weekend. Once on Thursday night when it came in the mail, once on Friday to listen to the director commentary, once on Saturday with some friends, and once on Sunday to listen to the cast commentary. Then on Monday I watched a bunch of the extras.

N * E * R * D!

My Attack of the Clones came today and I'm really feeling the nerdliness. I know the new ones aren't as good as the old ones, I know George Lucas would probably be happier working with all CG characters than have to deal with actual human actors, I know it's not the same, but I love it anyway.

Star Wars is like family--I kind of have to love them so long as they don't try to kill me or something like that. ESB is like a favorite relative, an aunt or an older cousin who takes you fun places and listens to cool music. ANH is the grandma. It started it all and may be a little creaky but you love it with all your heart. RotJ is the dorky parent-type. It bugs you and sings goofy songs in front of your friends, but basically has your best interest at heart. TPM is the annoying younger sibling. I'm not sure what AotC is yet. I'll decide after I've watched it again!
