why is it I always end up with two interesting classes and one boring-as-dirt class?
Every. Damned. Quarter.
Then I want to spend all my time working on the interesting stuff and put off the boring stuff and then I panic that I'll get a bad grade so I work like crazy on the boring stuff even though it is so bad it makes me want to cry but I don't want to fall back into the pattern that carried me through high school and my first pass at college, which was getting A's in classes I liked and blowing off the boring crap 'cause that shit don't fly in grad school, hon, and geez, this is one long-ass sentence, eh?
Every time I see that Southwest airlines commercial for the $39-$99 tickets I'm so tempted to head down to the airport and take off to a random Southwest destination.
Any old place.
Except for the East Coast.
Las Vegas would do. yeah... desert heat and sparkling neon and that constant ding-ding-ding from the ten million slot machines and free drinks if you're gambling and wallowing in the gross excess humans are capable of when given the opportunity.
Plus the Liberace museum.
